Our Story

Halie Jeané Winey and Jordan Joshua Buske's love story feels like it was written in the stars. Two lives unknowingly crossed paths until fate finally brought them together. Though they had been in the same places before, it wasn’t until March 2021 that the timing was right. From the very first glance, Halie felt something she had never experienced before, a certainty deep in her soul. That May, a nervous Jordan asked Halie to be his girlfriend, stumbling over his words in a way that made the moment even more endearing. It was the unforgettable start of their journey together.

Fast forward to January 2024. Jordan planned the perfect proposal atop a snowy hill at Hitchcock, hoping to capture it with his drone. But when technology failed, fate stepped in. With laughter still in the air from slipping in the snow, he took Halie’s face in his hands, promised to love and protect her always, and dropped to one knee.
